Automation of high-power boilers

BRAGER’s specialises in; designing customised solutions for the boiler industry, assembling and implementing industrial automation systems for a high-power boilers. As a part of the service offers; PLC and control panels programming, control cabinet assembly, on-site assembly, installation and commissioning of a complete systems.
We use control systems from renowned manufacturers like: Simens, Omron, Kinco and implement reliable a proprietary solutions. Our customers are supported by professional advice at every stage of cooperation.

Automatic control is an advanced device for controlling the combustion process in medium and high power boilers, when using standard and automatic control algorithms. The regulation process includes both the control of a combustion process when using the indications of temperature sensors and an exhaust gas analyser, and the monitoring of the entire heating system. This solution allows to optimize the process, reduce emissions and increase the energy efficiency of the entire system. A controller has the ability to operate a wide range of boilers, including: screw feeder, reciprocating feeder with a moving grate, wood chip or batch boilers. It also offers many functionalities for an ease operation, and the ability to control additional boiler equipment such as: exhaust gas analyser, pump circuits, control valves, scraper duster, heaters, water level sensors, buffer temperature measurements, and many others.

Depending on the customers’ requirements, selected functionalities are implemented in the requested control. Visualization of operating parameters is introduced on an easy -to-read 7-inch colour HMI display.

All parameter settings are made from the HMI panel, which makes boiler operation very intuitive and simple. Additionally, it is possible to customise the colour scheme and graphics according to individual requirements

There is also an option to block access by password to selected parameters. All boiler operating parameters might be recorded on an external USB flash drive, with the recording frequency and storage time customized according to customer requirements





Superior quality and engineering precision in building automation

Standard feature of the control allows to Internet connection. Dedicated installed applications on a computer, smartphone or tablet, allows to view or change the setting both boiler and heating system. Once necessary data is provided for the service, diagnostics and remote assistance is available in case of issue on operating a boiler.
